Heldi Khana High-protein blend for dal, curry & sabzi
A simple way to add more protein to the dals and curries you already love.
Heldi Khana is designed for everyday Indian cooking, adding around 10g of protein per serving with 1 heaped tbsp of mix. Made with whey protein isolate, sunflower lecithin for smoother dispersion, and a gentle blend of coriander, cumin, Kashmiri chilli, turmeric, and salt — it's crafted to fit naturally into familiar dishes without taking away from the taste of home-cooked food.
The spice profile is deliberately subtle, so it sits comfortably within dals, curries, and sabzis rather than fighting against them. The goal isn't to change your cooking — just to add a little more nourishment to meals that are already on the table.
How to use
- Mix 1 heaped tbsp of Heldi Khana with an equal part cold water and whisk into a smooth paste.
- Stir the paste into your dal, curry, or sabzi towards the end of cooking — off the heat, once the dish has cooled slightly.
The pre-mix-with-water step is what gives you a smooth finish — adding the powder straight into a hot pot will cause it to clump.
Two ways to use it:
- Per-bowl (recommended for your first time): mix the paste at the table and let each person stir as much as they'd like into their own portion.
- Whole-pot: stir the paste through the full dish after cooking, once it has cooled slightly off the heat.
